General Information: The Bucks County Bluegrass is at the roots of Music at Snipes Farm Festival. This year’s event will feature music on multiple stages hosting local, regional and national artist, exploring traditional to modern bluegrass music.

Craft vendors, food, children’s playground, camping & bon fires,

With this year’s line up we have decided to move the Festival home to the Big Field & the Big Stage.
Artists:

Peter Rowan:
Grammy-award winner and six-time Grammy nominee, Peter Rowan is a bluegrass singer-songwriter with a career spanning over five decades. From his early years playing under the tutelage of bluegrass patriarch Bill Monroe, and following his stint in Old & In the Way with Jerry Garcia and subsequent breakout as both a solo performer and bandleader, Rowan has built a devoted, international fan base through his continuous stream of original recordings, collaborative projects, and constant touring.
Peter will be performing as a solo singer-songwriter

HogMaw:
HogMaw’s live performances can vary from the traditional Bluegrass set to their blend of rowdy and rompin’ Thundergrass. While their music is rooted in bluegrass tradition, they push boundaries with edgy melodic riffs and catchy choruses. HogMaw returns to the Bucks County Music Festival for the third Year in a row. The hardest working NewGrass band in southeast Pennsylvania is not to be missed.

Jersey Corn Pickers:
The Corn Pickers are a not-strictly bluegrass band from the south Jersey and Philly area. They perform originals, as well as traditional, old time, folk and rock n roll covers.
http://www.jerseycornpickers.com/

Sully’s Fortune:
Songs played for the sheer joy of making music, lighten the heart and put bounce in the step. With a deep and abiding passion for bluegrass music, Sullys Fortune offers a unique blending of traditional standards along with more innovative bluegrass selections. Their down to earth manner and unpretentious arrangements allow the purity and simple beauty of each song to shine through. Whether playing a soulful ballad or a rousing instrumental, Sullys Fortune will always leave you wanting more.
http://facebook.com/sullysfortunband

BayGrass:
Cecil County, Maryland’s own rising bluegrass band, BayGrass, plays a unique blend of old-time and alternative bluegrass music. Blending big vocal harmonies, sharp picking, and a wide variety of songs, BayGrass will surely entertain any music lover. BayGrass consistently keeps their listeners on their feet with a balanced set-list of bluegrass standards, diverse covers, and eclectic originals. While being rooted in the traditional, BayGrass is a fresh breath of American Roots music that is authentic and pure.
Boulevard Express has been part of the Delaware Valley’s traditional music scene for the past four years. Hailing from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, BX is a traditional Bluegrass and Acoustic Country band founded by Terita Reeve and Fred Moore.
Fred is the long time host of the weekly Holmesburg Bluegrass Jam in NE Philly (www.holmesburgjam.com)
